    IT Business Partner Director – Supply Chain

    Burton Upon Trent with International Travel



    Molson Coors Brewing Company has an exciting opportunity for a progressive, innovative thought leader to guide all aspects of IT enablement for its Supply Chain Function across our European Business Unit.


    This is a great opportunity to bring new ideas to the World’s Family Brewer, particularly in the field of Digital Transformation, including Internet of Things, Cloud technology and automation.


    You will be partnering with Supply Chain across Europe and will lead IT strategy across the region, working with and influence business executives across the business. You will need to have well developed communication and relationship skills to both educate and influence at all levels in the organization.


    The successful individual will report to the Chief Information Officer for Europe and have extensive experience in leading and supporting others in the definition and execution of IT strategies, specifically in the Supply Chain function, preferably with extensive knowledge of the application of SAP in the supply chain of a Consumer Goods/Beverages organization.


    You will coordinate and manage global internal and outsourced teams to oversee seamless delivery of IT projects, therefore this role will require the ability to work effectively across both geographies and time zones. 


    What you will be responsible for


    You will be building and maintaining strong business relationships, ensuring IT has a ‘seat at the business table’. Strategically and tactically represents a Business Unit function(s) within IT, and vice versa.



    You’ll ensure IT Portfolio is aligned with strategic business objectives and drives business value as well as leading the development and consolidation of Business Unit function(s) input for the long range and annual IT plans.

    This role has the responsibility of defining high-level solution requirements with the business and IT and driving the development of business requirements and concepts for IT enabled initiatives, and translates those business requirements into IT requirements.



    You’ll be at the heart of developing project business cases to drive value for the business, advising on appropriate action, including needs for business contingency planning, and countermeasures with respect to implementation of IT solutions.


    As IT Project Lead, you’ll be overseeing and driving projects to ensure delivery and be accountable for project cost & benefit estimation as part of the project/portfolio business case.


    As IT Business Partner Director, you will be the key point of communications regarding program to Steering Committee and business stakeholders.


    Due to the scope of the role, there will be some international travel involved in the role which will constitute up to 25% of your time and may include European and US travel.


    Who we’re looking for


    This a critical role, functionally aligned with the overall business strategy. We’re therefore looking for proven knowledge working in IT with management level experience; including experience working with 3rd Party Service Providers.


    You’ll possess a healthy understanding of the business application of IT for Supply Chain. Is effective and persuasive in both written and oral communication at executive and operational levels.


    You’ll be proficient in Business Analysis, Organization Change Management and Project Management. You will have lead departmental strategy formulation & business transformation & change in a division has championed and/or sponsored projects for a division with a substantial capital spend


    You will have directly & routinely interacted with a division's Senior Executives and/or VPs. And have personally, managed a team of at least 1-5 of direct reports & at least 1-5 indirect report resources, in a matrix environment.


    Strong enterprise thinking and influence across functional boundaries and across organizational levels is desirable as well as good technical understanding and the aptitude to remain up to date with deployed IT solutions and anticipated developments in IT application in functional area of expertise.
