    Senior Director – Senior IT Business Partner UK&I

     

    Molson Coors Brewing Company is looking for a highly motivated individual to lead all aspects of IT enablement for its UK & Ireland Business.

     

    You will be a key member of the European IT Leadership team, reporting to the Chief Information Officer for Europe and have extensive experience in the end-to-end management of an IT department, preferably of a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods/Beverages organization.

     

    Your key accountabilities will include; defining and delivering an annual operating budget, leading and supporting others in the definition and execution of IT strategies and partnering with the IT Service Operations team to ensure proper levels of support are achieved.  

     

    Within this role, you will be working closely with key business stakeholders across the UK & Ireland so will need to have well developed communication and relationship skills to both educate and influence at all levels in the organization.

     

    The successful candidate will coordinate and manage local, global internal and outsourced teams to oversee the proper execution of IT projects, therefore this role will require the ability to work effectively across both geographies and time zones.

     

    You will build and maintain strong business relationships, ensuring IT has a ‘seat at the business table’. You will also strategically and tactically represent a Business Unit country/function(s) within IT, and vice versa. Meanwhile, you’ll be developing and maintaining relationships with senior strategic and operational business leaders partnering with the appropriate business sponsors and key users in addressing key business value opportunities.

     

    Key responsibilities:

     

    Ensure IT Portfolio is aligned with strategic business objectives and drives business value. Leads the development and consolidation of Business Unit function(s)/country input for the long range and annual IT plans. Pro-actively engages with and involves key senior business executives in mobilizing and defining business driven change ideas that result in Information Technology solution opportunities against defined business objectives.

     

    Accountable for ensuring effective definition of high-level solution requirements with the business and IT. Drives the development of business requirements and concepts for IT enabled initiatives, and translates those business requirements into IT requirements. Develops program and portfolio business cases to drive value for the business. Advises on appropriate action, including needs for business contingency planning, and countermeasures with respect to implementation of IT solutions.

     

    Serves as the IT Project Lead, overseeing and driving a portfolio of programs to ensure delivery. Leads delivery of large functional, country and/or business unit wide projects and initiatives. Accountable for project cost and benefit estimation as part of the program/portfolio business case. Accountable for overall project/program/portfolio delivery including time-line, costs and scope, coordinating with the Program/Project Manager on resourcing, issues and risks, scope, budget and schedule. Key point of communications regarding program to Steering Committee and senior business stakeholders.

     

    Skills and Relevant Work Experience:

     

    You must have proven experience working in IT with management level experience; including experience working with 3rd Party Service Providers. You’ll possess a robust understanding of the business application of IT for functional area supported (e.g. Finance, Supply Chain etc.).

     

    You are effective and persuasive in both written and oral communication at senior executive and operational levels and proficient in Business Analysis, Organization Change Management and Project Management.

     

    In your past or current role, you have lead departmental strategy formulation and business transformation and change globally across business units and have championed and/or sponsored programs for a business unit with a substantial capital spend.  You directly and routinely interact with a business unit's Senior Executives and/or VPs and have personally managed a team of at least 1-5 of direct reports and at least 1-5 indirect report resources, in a matrix environment.

     

    This is a crucial role in our organisation and we’re looking for someone who can demonstrate strong enterprise thinking and influence across functional boundaries and across organizational levels. We’re keen to hear from people who have good technical understanding and the aptitude to remain up to date with deployed IT solutions and anticipated developments in IT application in functional area of expertise.

     

    You’ll have a degree and preferably have a program management certification and/or advanced qualification. You will have strong IT consulting experience
