    Position:      Collaborative Planning Manager
    Location:      Based at Booker’s site in Northampton (with responsibilities at Molson Coor’s head office in Burton-upon-Trent)

    An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Supply Chain/Logistics team. We are looking for a Collaborative Planning Manager to work between the Molson Coors sites and our client, Booker’s site in Northampton. This role is fully accountable for the full Vendor Managed Inventory for Booker. Liaising with the Multi-Functional Selling Teams to deliver outstanding Customer Service, On Shelf Availability & Forecast Accuracy

    Key Responsibilities :-


    • Build deep and current understanding of customer business plans and forecasts using: historical sales, market trends, competitor activity, NPD impact and customer collaboration
    • Align with customer team to build a robust forecast, clearly identifying base, vulnerable and opportunity volume.
    • Drive continuous improvement of forecast accuracy and bias through a developed understanding of demand by providing, gathering and challenging information and customer collaboration
    • Management of weekly and periodic business reports to support the Game Planning cycle through Demand surgeries, Forecast evolution, Bias review, Customer sales reporting and Demand Review inputs
    • Evaluate and understand the impact of key inputs on performance of promotional activity and create a history to track this – Price, Feature, Mechanic, Competitor Activity, Weather
    • Ensure data is maintained in a timely and accurate manner in Capture to enable the smooth transfer through to the Supply Network Planning (SNP) tool
    • React to changes in demand vs. forecast and escalation requests, working with the customer and Demand Control to understand risks and maximise on-shelf availability through supply issues


    Key Experience and Qualifications:-

    • FMCG or Retailer based experience is desirable
    • Experience with Sales Based Ordering Systems
    • Experienced Customer Service Background
    • Excellent communicator
    • Highly skilled in relationship building at all levels
    • Successfully navigates ambiguity and conflicts of interest/personality.
