Here at Molson Coors we are looking for a Category Lead - Head of Indirects Procurement to lead the regional category management team. This includes working to ensure that the local/regional categories have the appropriate category strategies and that the team executes global category strategies at the local/regional level.

 

As Category Lead - Head of Indirects Procurement, you will be responsible for meeting cost savings goals and local supplier management.

What you will be up to day to day:

 

  • Daily management of the team members within the regional category strategy team; also input to the global category teams as related to direct materials (specifications, requirements)
  • Managing 10-15 local/regional categories of high complexity using strategic sourcing principles.
  • Must understand country/regional business priorities and needs.
  • Owns and manages (oversees) contract compliance once agreement is signed.
  • Managing local/regional suppliers, including score-carding and actively monitoring KPI's.
  • Responsible for managing the creation of category RO's on a national level.
  • Maintaining a cost savings target of $2M-$4M per year.
  • Responsible for monitoring risks and opportunities within their team scope's by category.
  • Also responsible for managing and reporting on category AOP cycle, including yearly planning activities.
  • Will also be involved in LRP for function and categories.
  • Managing stakeholders within their country/cluster.
  • Must be able to business partner with senior level internal stakeholders aligning on company priorities and needs.
  • Should be involved with ZBB process.

  • Degree educated
  • Proven relevant Procurement experience.
  • People management skills.
  • Expert strategic sourcing
  • Supplier management
  • Spend analysis, and contract negotiation skills.
  • Have worked in a multinational environment.
  • Project management and excellent verbal/written communications skills.  
  • Beverage or FMCG experience
