We are currently looking to recruit a Technician Engineer to complement a team of engineers in our Bottling department. In this role you will be responsible for utilising your electrical/mechanical skills to support the business in meeting it’s EHS, efficiency, production and costs targets. In order to focus on continuous improvement this role will encompass both reactive and preventative maintenance.

 

As a Technician Engineer the key responsibilities will be as follows –

  • Minimising production downtime through rapidly resolving breakdowns, initially identifying faults through selection of appropriate fault analysis checks
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance measures, following breakdowns, modifying components as appropriate to prevent future breakdown of equipment
  • Minimising product loss and ensuring consistent product quality, through accurate setup and calibration of production equipment
  • Optimising production efficiency, pro-actively rectifying issues and anticipating improvements required
  • Appointed as part of a continuous improvement team to implement changes to production lines to improve both line efficiencies and customer satisfaction

In order to be considered for this outstanding opportunity you will need the following skills and experience –

  • Time served engineer in an electrical bias paired with mechanical knowledge
  • Experience of working in a high pressure, fast moving manufacturing environment
  • A proactive approach to fault finding alongside excellent communication skills
  • Team player with a flexible and pragmatic attitude
