This individual will be based at brewing and kegging operation in Burtonwood. They will be responsible for the planning of brewing operations and scheduling for the site. This will include planning and managing the inbound and outbound movements up and down the Supply Chain.


As a Beer and Materials Scheduler you will be responsible for the following –


  • Managing beer scheduling from brew to filtration in order to maintain packaging output and service
  • Plan and manage road tanker movements in and out of the site, provide daily plans and liaise with contract packers, haulers and brewery operations teams
  • Maintain supply and service to the brewery at optimal cost and identify supply issues and solutions
  • Manage beer planning key data to ensure that systems are up to date with all performance and capacity information. Work closely with the site Operations Manager and the Production Manager to drive performance
  • Key interface with central planning and logistics team to ensure service and stock levels are maintained and any changes are communicated early


In order to be considered for this excellent opportunity you will need the following skills and experience -

  • Ideally degree qualified in a business, numerical or technical discipline
  • Significant production planning and scheduling experience gained within a fast moving, high pressure manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to an MRP system, ideally SAP, and possess excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Influencing skills paired with planning knowledge to influence and engage a number of stakeholders, both internally within the site and externally within the wider organisation
  • Be able to work using own initiative and be comfortable unlocking any issues and risks that appear
