12 Month Industrial Placement Student – Logistics

Molson Coors UK and Ireland breweries are collectively capable of brewing 14.6 million hectolitres (3 billion pints) per year, the Logistics function are a crucial part of the process ensuring machinery is maintained arrive on time and in the correct quantities, ensuring the materials are fed to the correct production lines and once the product is packaged they are responsible for safe and timely storage and delivery to either distribution centres or customers and consumers through our third party distribution network.
As an Industrial Placement Student, you will be given the opportunity to support the Planning and Logistics department, taking on daily activities such as vendor to depot product replenishment and demand analysis for the Multiples (supermarkets) and Pub Chains, you will also be involved in cutting edge project work with customers, suppliers and other brewers.
Offering a salary of £19,000 per annum as well as flexible working practices, benefits and rewards, this role is based in Burton upon Trent - the home of UK brewing. At the end of your 12 month placement you will have gained invaluable experience within a real working planning and logistics function, delivering cost saving and value add projects which directly contribute to savings and profit for the business.

Bringing a positive and professional attitude into the workplace, you will combine your ability to juggle multiple demands with superb analytical, communication and problem solving skills.
To be considered for this role we anticipate you will currently be studying a degree in an analytical discipline e.g Business Manager, Supply Chain Management or a numerate based degree, and will be predicted a 2.1 or above in your chosen subject.
