Here at Molson Coors we are looking for a Technical Standards Manager to ensure that our Field Technical Representatives are compliant against all standards and industry legislation to deliver our ambition of being first choice for customers.


As Technical Standards Manager you will be fully responsible for the operational and strategic development of the Technical Services engineering, quality and training standards. You will be responsible for delivering improvements in total cost of ownership, efficiency and capability, ensuring that our Field Technical Representatives are compliant against all standards.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement a technical training strategy and matrix that considers best practice and external bench marking for technical capability.
  • Develop and implement an Auditing and Compliance assurance system across internal and external regions.
  • Manage compliance through the field based Technical Quality Leads and SP contracts manager.
  • Ensuring compliance to:
    • Installation Standards,
    • Environment, Health & Safety
    • Adherence to COP legislation
    • SP SLA's 
  • Develop and implement the engineering strategy by challenging and critiquing the current equipment portfolio and install standards.
  • Identify improvements to equipment based on reliability, efficiency, ease of install and cost.
  • Deliver the Brand and Innovation strategy by utilising best practice maintenance tools and techniques
  • Implement and manage in partnership with an external provider an approved UK technical apprenticeship program that gives robust succession planning for regional technical representatives.




About You

  • Qualified to University Degree level 
  • Proven leadership experience in an engineering environment
  • Strong impact and influencing skills
  • Engineering experience in a field based environment
  • Experience of driving cultural change
