    What will I be doing?

     

    The role itself is centered around one of our most exciting categories partnering with Supply Chain and managing direct categories including cans, shrink, hi—cone and pallets within the World’s Family Brewer. As a company that makes beer - this is the category that really gets the juices flowing.

     

    With exciting projects on the horizon, we’re looking for you to join us on our journey of defining our Procurement strategy and extracting value from our partnerships. You’ll be focusing on UK&I but working closely with the global team, exploring how we can leverage our position to attain global agreements.

    Here’s a list of the key responsibilities in the role:

    • Managing 3-7 local/regional categories of intermediate to high complexity using strategic sourcing principles. Must understand country/region business priorities and needs. Owns contract compliance once agreement is signed.
    • Managing local/regional suppliers, including score-carding and actively monitoring KPI's. Responsible for creating and delivering category RO's on the national level.
    • Maintaining cost savings target of $1M-$2M per year. Responsible for assessing and managing category risks and opportunities on a country/cluster level.  
    • Managing stakeholders within their country/cluster. Must be able to business partner with senior level internal stakeholders aligning on company priorities and needs. Must also build relationships at lower levels of the organization.
    • Responsible for managing category AOP cycle including supporting countries/clusters with their local budgets.

     

    Who we're looking for

     

    In order to be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate excellent strategic sourcing, supplier management and spend analysis. We also want to hear about all of your impressive contract negotiations that you've handled in the past.

     

    We use SAP so if you have experience of using it too, great. If not, don't let this put you off applying - tell us what other experience you have.

     

    You'll have experience with contract management tools, spend analysis tools as well as broad based experience in multinational category management and international teams.

     

    Strong project management skills are a must as well as effective written and verbal communications skills.

     

    Although you won’t be directly managing people, you will be managing people in an indirect/project type manner so you'll need to be able to see the bigger picture and put peices in the right places.

     

    You will be managing senior stakeholders across the business so will need to have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
